All Unitrack points come fitted with a point motor built into the base of the point. The point motors work on a 2 wire 12 volts DC voltage and need one 24-840 Point Switch to work properly, the cable and plug for this are supplied with the points. The points can be operated manually by using the switch in the ballast next to the blades. These points would be ideal if you are running high speed trains. The Crossing is isolated across the middle so you don't have to worry about any complicated wiring. Only one point switch required to operate.

A very versatile and cost effective piece of track. It combines four points and a crossover into one. All points are thrown at the same time which makes wiring very simple. The Kato track system is superb for temporary layouts as it allows you to build and rebuild layout as you like. Highly recommended.
