Shipping Costs

Deliveries to UK (inc. Northern Ireland, IoM and Channel islands)

For UK deliveries, the postage and packing charge is based on the value of your order and is shown in detail below. All our rates are subsidised by us and don't reflect the full cost of packing materials, labour and postal service surcharges.

Items mailed within the UK will normally be sent by the 'Royal Mail 48' postal service. Orders above £30 will normally be sent by Royal Mail 'Tracked 48' and a tracking number will be provided. Despite the name, these services are not guaranteed to arrive in 48 hours: please allow 2-5 working days. Special Delivery, which is normally next day and requires a signature, is also available as an option for those who need items faster.

Heavier and/or high value orders may be sent via a trusted courier service and will normally be insured for the full replacement value of the item. If a buyer requires any other expedited service please email sales@traintrax.co.uk for a quote BEFORE placing your order.

Train Trax reserves the right to replace any of the above services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it to be more appropriate. Train Trax also reserves the right to combine multiple orders for the same recipient into one parcel for mutual convenience and to save resources. No refunds will be given on postage charges in these cases.

Overseas

For overseas postage and packing  will be charged on the weight of your order. Items mailed outside the UK will normally be sent International Tracked Airmail. Heavier items may be sent Surface mail or by courier. If a buyer requires enhanced insurance or an expedited service please email the above for a quote BEFORE placing your order. Train Trax reserves the right to replace any of the above services, without notice, for a similar or enhanced service, where we deem it to be more appropriate. 

We do not wish to overcharge for Postage and Packing, should the charge for this look excessive please email us your order so as we can re-weigh your order and give a precise Postage and Packing charge.
