Description
The EW I passenger coaches are used on local RhB services, including routes through the Albula and Arosa areas. Their bright red livery is a familiar sight on the Rhaetian Railway and can be mixed with other RhB stock, including panoramic coaches.
This is a coach-only set and does not include a motor car.

- 18.5 m main-line metre-gauge coaches reproduced in N gauge.
- Red body with silver stripe, reflecting the style used from the 1980s onwards.
- Interior detail includes different seating layouts and seat colours for first and second class cars.
- First class cars: 1+2 seating.
- Second class cars: 2+2 seating.
- Glacier Express short couplers fitted as standard.
- Optional interior lights can be installed.

Kato's rendition of the RhB EW-1 (Einheitswagen) is superb, accurate livery, very free running , despite the fact that they re set up for track fed internal lighting.
These coaches can be observed on a daily basis using the RhB.ch official website using rhb/livestream which utilises webcam images from the RhB control rooms! (Warning it can be time consuming though!!)

Run smooth and great level of detail for the size. A bit fiddley to connect but sturdy connection once joined together. Will be looking to add internal lights in the near future
