Description
The KiHa 181 Series was used by JR Shikoku on limited express services across Shikoku after the JNR era. The fleet was repainted into JR Shikoku ivory and sky blue, with interior updates including reclining seats and half-Green car conversions to suit shorter limited express formations.
This KATO 5-car set represents vehicles from the Takamatsu operating area around 1991, suitable for recreating services such as Shimanto, Nanpu, Ashizuri, Shiokaze, Ishizuchi, Uwakai and Uzushio.

- Front headmark fitted as "Shimanto". Replacement headmarks include Nanpu, Shimanto, Ashizuri, Shiokaze, Ishizuchi, Uwakai, Uzushio and blank.
