This item uses Train Trax's website pre-order function.  For simplicity of processing, each product will need to be placed on a separate pre-order as they will probably arrive at different times. If more than one pre-order does arrive at a similar time then it will be possible to combine shipping charges.

Add to your basket as normal. You can then choose to provide card details to be held securely by the preferred payment provider 'Stripe' ready for when the item arrives. You will not be charged until despatch.

You will receive an acknowledgment of your order. I will send an invoice when your order is passing through UK Customs, you can then pay the invoice online using any card or BACS.

KATO HO KiHa 110 Tadami Line KiHa 40 Colour

The KiHa 110 Series appeared in 1991 as a JR East general-purpose diesel railcar, with a lighter, more modern style and higher power than older diesel units.

On the Tadami Line between Aizu-Wakamatsu and Koide, a KiHa 110 was repainted from 2022 in a colour scheme recalling the KiHa 40 Series that previously worked the line, marking the full reopening after restoration from natural disaster damage.

Key features and details

• Special project HO model of KiHa 110-223 at Koriyama depot, representing its appearance around 2025.
• White and green livery recalling the former Tadami Line KiHa 40 Series is cleanly reproduced.
• Front destination display fitted as One-Man / Local, with a blank replacement included.
• Car number, JR mark, wheelchair and pushchair marks, depot lettering and other markings are printed.
• Door button switches represented by printing.
• Handrails and wipers are moulded into the body and front glazing.
• Toilet-end front has gangway bellows fitted; the opposite end has the bellows receiver detail.
• Roof equipment is factory fitted.
• Head/tail lights and front display light up, with light-off switch; warm white LEDs used.
• Telescopic close coupler fitted, with electrical coupler-style coupler receiver parts included.
• Minimum radius R370, making it practical for smaller HO layouts.
