Description
KATO has released a new version of the premium double-track starter set, a higher grade introductory set that allows you to enjoy two trains at the same time, the E5 Series 'Hayabusa' and the E6 Series 'Komachi', on double tracks.
This gorgeous starter set includes a canted 'concrete' sleeper double track and two Powerpack Standard SX Controllers. You will soon be able to enjoy two trains passing each other and driving together as seen on the real railways. You can combine various track sets and structures to expand your track plan as you wish, making it a good choice for those who are just starting out with N Scale.
Starting with this product, the E5 Series will be updated to the form currently in service (equivalent to 10-1663) with some of the windows filled in. This is a starter set to enjoy the latest Series E5/E6 Shinkansen.
"Hayabusa" and "Komachi" have contrasting green and red color schemes. Both of these sets can be purchased with the Add-on sets to complete a full formation.
Main Features
●The basic specifications of the vehicles are the same as the <10-1663 E5 Series Shinkansen "Hayabusa" Basic Set (3 Cars)> and the <10-1566 E6 Series Shinkansen "Komachi" Basic Set (3 Cars)>.
Track set configuration: WS248PC x 5, WS124PC x 1, WS62PC x 1, WS62FPC x 1, WR414/381PCAL x 2, WR414/381PCAR x 2, WR414/381PC x 6, and relayer x 1 (with unijoiner remover).
The set's power pack uses the high-output (1.2A) "Power Pack Standard SX" and "Starter Set AC Adapter," which are compatible with long trains. UK plugs included.
