●Eizan Electric Railway is a private railway line that connects Demachiyanagi in Kyoto City to Kurama at the foot of Mount Kurama, a tourist destination in the northern part of Kyoto City.
The 900 series <Kirara>, which appeared in 1997, is characterized by a large observation window that allows you to enjoy the panoramic seasonal scenery from inside the car. Two trains are in use, with maple red and maple orange color schemes that evoke autumn leaves.

●To commemorate the 90th anniversary of the opening of the Eizan Electric Railway Kurama Line on December 1, 2018, one "Maple Red" train was repainted in "Maple Green" to evoke the refreshing green of maple leaves, and was in operation from March 21, 2019 to early December 2024.

◆We will reproduce the Eizan Electric Railway 900 series, which is nicknamed <Kirara>. You can enjoy the current Kirara with the "KEIHAN" logo, the seat color inside the car, and the changed destination display. It is an affordable two-car train that can pass through the sharp curve R150, and is recommended for driving on a small layout using Unitrack Compact. In addition, since the car has a large observation window, you can put a doll inside and enjoy a lively interior. There is also a maple tunnel along the line, so we also recommend creating a diorama using the Japanese autumn leaves series.
