Description

The Class 800/3 Intercity Express Train is a 9-car bi-mode unit used by Great Western Railway. Built by Hitachi as part of the Intercity Express Programme, the trains can draw power from overhead wires or use onboard diesel engines where electrification is not available.

This DCC-fitted KATO set represents a GWR 9-car IET in British N gauge, giving a full-length modern intercity formation for UK layouts.
