Perhaps one of the greatest model trains I have ever bought - the detail is exquisite and the customisation of headboards for the exact colouration that you desire is such a fine detail. The carriages have a fantastic feel and finish to them, with a great metallic sheen and subtle gold highlights to make the carriages stand out with a formal feel. There is also internal lighting included in the form of 'blue mood lighting' in the middle of each carriage, although the light-bars would need to be installed separately for full light coverage.
The locomotive also has a functional headlight, with fantastic performance and absolutely no flaw to note, with a surprising degree of weight to the train. The typical KATO packaging is also replaced with a more premium edition, including a booklet on the layouts you could make appropriate to this exact model. Some may also be aware of this trains popular adaption in Japanese media which adds that extra special uniqueness to it.
