Description
The Hankyu 6300 Series was introduced in 1975 for limited express work on the Hankyu Kyoto Line, notably between Umeda and Kawaramachi. With two-door bodies and transverse seating, it became one of Hankyu Railway's best-known express trains.
This KATO 4-car basic set represents the later form with the small windows added behind the driving cab, as seen from around 2001 to 2008. The model captures the glossy maroon Hankyu finish and is designed to be expanded with the matching add-on set for a longer formation.
