Description

N gauge KATO 5-car add-on set for the E531 Series Joban Line / Ueno-Tokyo Line.

The E531 Series is an AC/DC suburban EMU used on the Joban Line, including services extending through the Ueno-Tokyo Line. It is capable of operation beyond Toride on AC-electrified sections and is associated with fast suburban services over a wide area from Shinagawa towards Ibaraki and Fukushima.

This 5-car attached formation is designed to work with the matching basic formation to recreate longer Joban Line workings.
