Cruise train E001 type representing JR EastIn the electrified section, electricity is collected from overhead lines as usual, and in the non-electrified section, the power of the diesel generator mounted on the vehicle is used to drive the main motor. 50Hz / 60Hz), AC 25,000V (Hokkaido Shinkansen shared section), and can be operated in a wide range regardless of electrified or non-electrified.
The body is painted in Shikishima gold and has a dynamic design, with windows of various sizes on the sides, cooling fans mounted on both front cars, and a pantograph and high-voltage equipment on the roof. It's a busy vehicle.
It is a product that accurately reproduces the high-quality interior molding of the "Suite", "Deluxe Suite", and "Shikishima Suite", and features a high-quality construction that is as good as the actual vehicle. You can enjoy the beautiful cruise train at your fingertips.

Main features

・Reproduce the powerful body with elegant Shikishima gold paint, the unique shape of the forehead, the sides with windows of various sizes, and the varied details on the roof just like the actual vehicle

・The view through the windows: accurately reproduces the interior such as seats and lounges. In addition to the expression of the piano in the lounge, the table lights in the dining room, the fireplace in the lounge, and the gatepost lights are lit to reproduce a calm atmosphere.
・Accurately reproduce the varied rooftop with coolers, roof equipment, radiators, etc. Insulators are represented by white parts, security device notation on the side of the car body, emblem, car is mark printed, headlights / taillights on. All interior lights are equipped with a light guide plate. By incorporating an interior light unit (sold separately), all vehicles can be turned on, and by adopting a slotless motor, smoother and quieter driving performance is realized.
・A dummy coupler is used at both ends, and a body mount type hookless coupler is used at the intermediate connection.

・Supports DCC decoder installation.

・The package of the 4-car basic set (part number: 10-1889) and the 6-car extension set (part number: 10-1890) is a 6-car book case.

All I can say about this train pack is, WOW its stunning, it looks beautiful running around the layout, and will look even better when I fit all the cars with the 11-214 6pack lighting kits I will purchase very soon from Ian Miller of TrainTrax.
Might I also add that Ian Miller is a sterling guy to deal with, always attentive to any problems you may have and sorted out very promptly.
