Important
This item uses Train Trax's website pre-order function. For simplicity of processing, each product will need to be placed on a seperate pre-order as they will probably arrive at different times. If more than one pre-order does arrive at a similar time then it will be possible to combine shipping charges.
Add to your basket as normal. You can then choose to provide card details to be held securely by the preferred payment provider 'Stripe' ready for when the item arrives. You will not be charged until despatch.
If you don't want to provide card details up-front, please choose 'Pay Later'. This just enables me to receive details of your order and no payment needs to be made at this time. You will receive an acknowledgment of your order. I will send an invoice when your order is passing through UK Customs, you can then pay the invoice online using any card or BACS.
You may see the item marked in stock on my website, this merely indicates I have pre-ordered sufficient stock to fulfil your order.
Non UK Customers: UK VAT will be automatically deducted from your invoice, you will however be liable for any taxes in your country.

The Kiha 283 series is a pendulum-type limited express diesel train that debuted in 1997 as the "Super Ozora" (Sapporo-Kushiro). Boasting a maximum operating speed of 130 km/h, it has significantly shortened the journey between Sapporo and Kushiro from 4 hours 25 minutes to 3 hours 40 minutes. From March 2023, the Sekihoku Main Line limited express trains ``Okhotsk'' (Sapporo - Abashiri) and ``Taisetsu'' (Asahikawa - Abashiri) will begin operating, and the side of the first car will be named after the local government along the line. The illustration has been pasted. When running as ``Okhotsk Taisetsu'', it does not use a pendulum mechanism and is active in a 3-4 car formation.
Just like the actual vehicle, the vehicle body does not tilt even when passing through curves, allowing you to enjoy realistic driving scenes with a 3-4 car formation. The illustrations of municipalities along the line on the side of the lead car reproduce "Asahikawa/Abashiri" for the 3-car set, and "Engaru, Kitami, Bihoro" for the 4-car set.
Main features
- The 4-car set reproduces the additional formations including Kiha 282-2000 seen during the busy season
- Protector added to the connection surface on the roof of Kiha 283 and Kiha 282 Reproduce. The first car reproduces the state in which the front holo is attached to all cars. The first car is printed with local government illustrations...
・Head/tail light, head mark lighting . The head mark "Okhotsk (Japanese)" is already installed.
