A 5-car set representing the JR Shikoku 8000 Series limited express EMU used on 'Shiokaze' and 'Ishizuchi' services.

The 8000 Series first appeared in the early 1990s and uses a controlled tilting system for high-speed limited express work on Shikoku. This KATO set represents the post-2004 renovated appearance, giving customers a strong modern JR Shikoku formation for scenic main-line layouts.
