Description
-The E231 series, which is active on the Joban Line, was introduced in 2002 as a replacement for the 103 series. There are 10-car and 5-car formations, and it is operated in a 15-car formation, the longest for an E231 series commuter train. In addition to the line color of the blue-green stripe on the body, a green stripe has been added to prevent passengers from boarding the local line by mistake. In addition to being active on the Joban Rapid Line between Ueno and Toride and on the Narita Line between Abiko and Narita along with the medium-distance train E531 series, it has expanded its field of activity even further since the opening of the Ueno-Tokyo Line in 2015, and has even reached Shinagawa.
-The E231 series, which is active on the Joban Line and Ueno-Tokyo Line, will be commercialized with the current specifications after the equipment has been updated. You can enjoy it together with various other products, such as the popular "Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line 16000 Series".
