Important
This item uses Train Trax's website pre-order function. For simplicity of processing, each product will need to be placed on a seperate pre-order as they will probably arrive at different times. If more than one pre-order does arrive at a similar time then it will be possible to combine shipping charges.
Add to your basket as normal. You can then choose to provide card details to be held securely by the preferred payment provider 'Stripe' ready for when the item arrives. You will not be charged until despatch.
If you don't want to provide card details up-front, please choose 'Pay Later'. This just enables me to receive details of your order and no payment needs to be made at this time. You will receive an acknowledgment of your order. I will send an invoice when your order is passing through UK Customs, you can then pay the invoice online using any card or BACS.
You may see the item marked in stock on my website, this merely indicates I have pre-ordered sufficient stock to fulfil your order.

●Tokyu Corporation 5050 Series 4000-series <Shinkansen Wrapping Train> began operating in May 2024 as part of the "enjoy WEST" promotion. The entire car is wrapped in Shinkansen white with two Shinkansen blue lines under the windows. In addition, the train will connect with the Tokaido Shinkansen at Shin-Yokohama Station on the Tokyu Corporation Shin-Yokohama Line, which opened in 2023, and "create a sense of excitement as if you are going on a trip while using the Tokyu line, so that you can enjoy your trip using the Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen." In addition, the "Hikari Chime" heard on the Tokaido-Sanyo Shinkansen will be reproduced, and in-car advertisements in collaboration with JR Central will be displayed.
◆Following the "Blue Frog" wrapping, a new fully wrapped train will be introduced on the Tokyu Toyoko Line. You can enjoy it alongside the various vehicles that it encounters on direct services, as well as alongside the N700 series Shinkansen trains with the same color scheme.
Main Features
②The car body is fully wrapped with two Shinkansen blue stripes wrapped around it based on the Shinkansen white color.
③The coupling surface, bottom of the car body, rain gutter, each door and window frame are reproduced with stainless steel.
④The digital radio antenna added to the roof of the leading car and the form of the middle car (4405) with the IR antenna removed are reproduced.
⑤The middle part of the train set is equipped with a KATO close-coupled type (with hook) as standard. The leading part is equipped with a dummy coupler.
⑥Head/tail lights and front destination display lights up (using white LEDs).
⑦The use of a slotless motor achieves smooth and quiet running.
⑧Front display "52K Express Shonandai" already installed. "53K Local Kawagoe City" and "55K Express Shibuya" are included as replacements.
⑨Side display is printed in solid black. Destination display stickers are included. You can choose your preferred destination.
