Description
●The 50 series 51 passenger car was introduced in 1979 as a general passenger car for Hokkaido. Based on the 50 series passenger car for Honshu, it was equipped with cold and snow resistant equipment such as double windows on the sides and axle generators on the bogies, and continued to be used on Hokkaido's main trunk lines, but was retired in 1994 before the 50 series for warm regions. It is an indispensable vehicle when talking about passenger trains in Hokkaido.
◆KATO's 50 series 51 passenger car is now available in its later years with the JR mark painted on the side of the Ohafu 51. It is suitable as a towing partner for the popular <3071-2 ED76 500 JR specification> and <7008-L DD51 late cold resistant type Hokutosei (gray H rubber)>. Additionally, we will also be reproducing the <11-551 50 Series Passenger Car Upgrade Parts>, which are ideal for adding detail to the roof.
