Description

This special 6-car set combines JR Central's 315 Series 3000 with a 313 Series 300 formation, representing the mixed operation seen in the Shizuoka area.

The 315 Series is JR Central's newer commuter train, introduced to replace older 211 Series stock. It was the first train to use the company's N-QUALIS next-generation brand. The 315 Series 0 began operation on the Chuo Main Line in 2022, followed by the 3000 series 4-car group on the Kansai Main Line from 2023 and later on the Taketoyo Line, Tokaido Main Line and Shizuoka area services.

The 3000 series is fitted with side safety cameras in preparation for one-person operation, while the 313 Series remains a familiar partner in JR Central local and regional formations.
