Description

The ICE 4 is the fourth generation of Deutsche Bahn's Intercity Express family and is now a key long-distance train in Germany and neighbouring European countries. The real trains are distributed-traction 12-car sets with a maximum speed of 250 km/h, designed to increase long-distance capacity and give operators more flexible formations.

This 4-car basic set is the starting point for KATO's ICE 4 formation. It can be expanded in stages with the matching add-on sets to create a longer, more impressive high-speed train.
