Description

The E233 Series 7000 was introduced in 2013 to replace the 205 Series on the Saikyo Line. The type runs through to the Tokyo Waterfront Area Rapid Transit Rinkai Line and now also operates through to the Sagami Railway, giving it a wide operating area from Kawagoe to Shinkiba and Ebina.

This six-car add-on set represents the revised KATO set structure, allowing the full train to be built from a 4-car basic set and 6-car add-on set. It is based on the Hae 117 formation from Kawagoe Vehicle Center and can be paired with other modern Tokyo-area stock.

• Side destination displays are printed in plain black; destination stickers included.
• Stroller marks on cars 1 and 10 and weak-air-conditioning car mark on car 9 are printed.
• Intermediate couplings use body-mounted KATO close couplers with hooks as standard.
• Cab ends use dummy couplers.
• Slotless motor for smooth, quiet running where powered vehicles are included.
• DCC friendly.
