Description
The JR Kyushu 883 Series 'Sonic' was introduced in 1995 for faster, more comfortable limited express services on the Nippo Main Line. It was JR Kyushu's first tilting train and is one of the most visually distinctive Japanese limited express designs, with its metallic blue finish and aircraft-like styling.
This 4-car basic set represents the first-batch renewed cars. It is intended as the core powered set and can be combined with 10-2161 to make a longer 'Sonic' formation.
