This item uses Train Trax's website pre-order function.  For simplicity of processing, each product will need to be placed on a separate pre-order as they will probably arrive at different times. If more than one pre-order does arrive at a similar time then it will be possible to combine shipping charges.

Add to your basket as normal. You can then choose to provide card details to be held securely by the preferred payment provider 'Stripe' ready for when the item arrives. You will not be charged until despatch.

If you don't want to provide card details up-front, please choose 'Pay Later'. This just enables me to receive details of your order and no payment needs to be made at this time. You will receive an acknowledgment of your order. I will send an invoice when your order is passing through UK Customs, you can then pay the invoice online using any card or BACS.

KATO E233 Series 1000 Keihin-Tohoku Line - ATACS Antenna Formation

The E233 Series 1000 was introduced in 2007 for the Keihin-Tohoku and Negishi lines, replacing the 209 Series. Compared with the 0 Series, the 1000 Series has differences around the front band, train number display position and the cut-outs around the cab end.

This release updates the Keihin-Tohoku Line E233-1000 to the latest appearance, with ATACS antennas added to the cab roofs and renewed underfloor equipment. It is intended to sit naturally alongside other Tokyo area stock including E235 Yamanote Line and E233-3000 Tokaido Line / Ueno-Tokyo Line formations.

• Models Saitama depot formation 178 with ATACS antennas and updated underfloor equipment.
• Recreates a Niitsu-built formation, with newly tooled cab roof and end details.
• Accurately represents the added ATACS antennas on the leading car roofs.
• Roof air conditioners: AU726B on cars 2, 4 and 5; AU726 on the other cars.
• Headlights, tail lights and front destination display light up using white LEDs.
• Front displays printed as 1342A and Rapid Keihin-Tohoku Line; replacement front displays for Local Keihin-Tohoku Line and blank included.
• Side destination displays printed as Rapid Keihin-Tohoku Line.
• Slotless motor for smooth, quiet running.
• Body-mounted KATO close couplers without hooks between intermediate cars; dummy couplers on the cab ends.
• The bookcase for Add-on Set A can store the Basic Set and Add-on Set B contents.
• DCC friendly.
