This item uses Train Trax's website pre-order function. For simplicity of processing, each product will need to be placed on a seperate pre-order as they will probably arrive at different times. If more than one pre-order does arrive at a similar time then it will be possible to combine shipping charges.

You will receive an acknowledgment of your order. I will send an invoice when your order is passing through UK Customs, you can then pay the invoice online using any card or BACS.

The Tokyu 5000 series was manufactured in accordance with the Japan Railway Industrial Association's "Standard Specifications Guidelines for Commuter and Suburban Trains," which aimed to reduce the cost of new vehicle construction through standardization. Jointly developed by JR East and Tokyu Car Corporation, this is Tokyu's standard train, based on the E231 series and incorporating original Tokyu elements throughout. The 5050 series began commercial operation on the Toyoko Line in 2004. Currently, through service between five companies operates with 8-car trains, covering a wide range of routes, from Motomachi-Chukagai on the Minatomirai Line to Shiki on the Tobu Tojo Line and Hanno on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. Introducing a new addition to Kato's Tokyu Corporation series. This 8-car 5050 series, currently in service on the Toyoko Line, features a more recent design with an antenna added to the roof of the lead car. Various Tokyu Corporation products are currently on sale, including the 10-1961/1962 Seibu Railway 40000 Series 50s, and the 10-2157/2158 Seibu Railway 40000 Series 50s scheduled for release in February 2026.
Main Features
2. The configuration of the lead car (5174/5874) with an additional digital radio antenna and the middle car (5474) with the IR antenna removed is reproduced.
3. The thick red stripe on the side siding and the yellow warning stripe at the end of the car are reproduced.
4. The "8cars" display is printed on the windshield. The identification stripe next to the crew door is reproduced in red.
5. Each car reproduces the roof equipped with a Mitsubishi air conditioning unit (CU708 type cooler).
6. The middle of the train is equipped with a KATO close-coupled coupler (with hook) as standard. The front is equipped with a dummy coupler.
7. Head/tail lights and front destination display are illuminated (using white LEDs).
8. The use of a slotless motor achieves smooth and quiet running.
9. The front display "14K Express Motomachi-Chinatown" is already installed. Replacement "08K Local Wakoshi" and "21K Local Shibuya" (plain) are included.
