Description

The 103 Series was one of Japan National Railways' standard DC commuter EMUs, with more than 3,400 cars built after mass production began in 1964. They worked widely on DC commuter lines across Japan, with many differences between batches, routes and regions.

This KATO Sky Blue four-car set gives an accessible way to add a classic 103 Series commuter train to an N gauge layout. This is a powered set. See 10-1744A for the matching three-car add-on set.

The set can be combined with matching intermediate/add-on cars to build longer commuter formations, including the 10-car trains seen in major metropolitan areas.
