Description

A display souvenir model of the East German State Railways VT18.16 / BR175 diesel express train, supplied with a 186 mm straight UNITRACK display section.

The real VT18.16 was built for Deutsche Reichsbahn in the 1960s as a prestige international diesel multiple unit. With power cars at both ends and a 160 km/h maximum speed, the type worked important cross-border services, including the Berlin to Vienna 'Vindobona'.
