Kato will make a new item U38A Container (Nissan Rikusou) 3 pcs./set and reproduce 23-503 U41A Container (Nissan Rikusou) 3 pcs./set simultaneously.
Both containers were used for railroad transport of vehicles made by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. They shared with each other a distinctive character of tricolor striped livery and round roof. But U41A donned a gray belt while U38A had a blue belt and was shorter than the other in the height and width. U41A carried standard vehicles and U38A transported smaller cars, respectively nicknamed “Car Pack” and “Car Pack 2”.

The U41A Containers with their characteristic tricolor paint with "NISSAN" logo and curved top are now here in a new variation with the "ZERO Co., Ltd."inscription.
The U41A Containers are 20ft covered containers developed in 1991 for the purpose of transporting automobiles. A U41A containr can hold one passenger car in each of the upper and lower compartments, and each freight car KOKI can carry a maximum of three U41A containers (equivalent to six passenger cars (2 x 3)).
In 2001, Nissan Land Transport Co., Ltd. changed its name to "ZERO Co., Ltd." and the container inscriptions were changed along with it.
