Fully remodeled in 2004 the fifth generation HIACE, seen in various places even today, is basically designed as a van for commercial use but is popular as a passenger car for the functional exteriors with wheel caps installed as standard equipment. Particularly the roomy 'Super long wide body, high roof' model is used for police vehicles, traffic accident handling vehicles, and kindergarten commuting buses.
