Description
●The first in the "Hokkaido Animal Series," a new development in the animal figure series that focuses on endemic species in Hokkaido and animals that symbolize the great nature of the north, is a 1/150 scale product of the red-crowned crane, a bird that spends the winter around the Kushiro Marsh. The red-crowned crane is a large wild bird with a wingspan of over 2m and is characterized by a red top of the head. The Ainu people worshiped it as the god of the marshland with such divine beauty that its population once declined to the brink of extinction, and now it is protected and bred not only in Hokkaido but also in Western Japan, designated as a special natural monument and listed on the Ministry of the Environment's Red List.
◆This is an ideal item to decorate the natural diorama seen from the tourist train "SL Winter Marshland" in the Kushiro area. A total of eight red-crowned cranes in various poses that can be seen in the vast marshland will be produced.
Main Features
② Reproduces the red-crowned cranes in unique poses at a scale of 1/150 that goes well with the "SL Winter Wetlands Train."
④ Recommended as important characters when expressing Kamuy Mosir (the place where the gods live), Ainu Mosir (the human world), or the nature of Hokkaido and Japan in dioramas.
