Description
This OO9 model represents 'Princess', one of the Ffestiniog Railway's famous Small England locomotives. Four of these small 0-4-0 tender engines were built by George England & Co between 1863 and 1867, and three survive today. They are closely associated with the Ffestiniog Railway in North Wales and make an appealing subject for British narrow gauge layouts.
The model is produced in OO9, representing 1/76 scale running on 9 mm gauge track. It is suitable for Ffestiniog, Welsh Highland, slate railway, heritage railway and freelance narrow gauge scenes, and its compact size makes it a useful choice for smaller layouts.

Very good product. Main body is iron with coal wagon is plastic. Ability to change couplings is a plus. Changed them to Arnold ones as many wagons/coaches I use have them.

Nineth month review. This is a delicate locomotive to be handled with care. Wheel side rods came off in my case when screw holding the roods came off. There are two alternatives to solve this. One is to find the screw and able to do repairs. The second option is to contact Peco as advised by Traintrax and ask for the new clip-on pins which are free. The latter worked for me. I would like to thank Traintrax for the support and guiding me in the right direction. Very good product.
