Prototype information

Series 12 passenger cars are used on JR West's event trains, including the SL Kita Biwako. (Locomotive not included in this set).
The 12 series passenger car was the last express passenger car manufactured by Japan National Railways from 1969 to 1978, and was operated throughout the country except Hokkaido.
The 12 series of the JR West Aboshi General Rolling Stock Miyahara Branch was operated together with the C56 as the ``SL Kita Biwako,'' and can also be seen operating as a special event train not only in various parts of JR West Japan, but also in Kyushu.
In combination with "C56 160", the old "SL Kita Biwako", "Thank you C56 Yamaguchi", and "Aso" head mark for EF65 1000 are also included, so you can enjoy the event train with your favorite locomotive.

Main features
