- Fine spoked wheels, printed copper-coloured air pipes and no white lining on the running board.
- Directional headlights front and rear.

- Coreless motor power unit for stable running.
- Can haul five 20m coaches on KATO's standard 4% gradient.
- Number plates and coupler options included.

An amazing little locomotive, the level of detail is very impressive, especially the running gear. It runs very smoothly straight out of the box, and runs very well even at slow speeds. It happily goes round 150mm radius curves. Given the level pf detail and its excellent running qualities its a very reasonably priced locomotive. Plus of course Traintrax excellent service.

As with Mikes review above this is an absolutely superb locomotive impressive detail etc very controllable down to a very slow crawl, exceptional haulage capability mine pulled 10 bogie coaches up a 1 in 30 incline ! The loco has power collection from all 6 axles making it very sure footed over points etc, and a working headlight and comes with an accessory pack which includes alternative couplings and several sets of number plates for user installation ( so there are no problems if more than one loco is purchased as the running numbers can be different) The price is very competitive, a lot less than some other 2-6-2Ts!
It was delivered with Traintrax usual rapid service in fact it arrived a day early, it was sent 48 Hour Royal Mail tracked but it was delivered in less than 24 hrs I ordered in the afternoon and it was delivered at 9-00am next day!!

On my previous review I should have mentioned the the loco has both Front and Rear working lights which work according to the direction of travel!

Jusr a small interesting addition to my 2 previous reviews for this loco. A further loco has been purchased, the loco does not come with a working front coupler fitted but one is sepplied in the accesory pack for user fitting, which can be hust a little fiddly!
When testing the new loco I accidently sent it up a siding at the end of which were some simplex coupling fitted wagons, the loco front end. made contact with the end wagon, I reversed the direction and to my surprise found that the wagons were coupled to the loco I allowed the then longish train to continue and it ran perfectly well around the quite complex layout ( several points, small and large radius curves etc I tested this several times and it continued to work, it seems the top of the wagon fitted simplex coupling attaches to the underside of the loco's dummy front coupling
