●The D51 was active throughout the country, thanks to its high production volume as a locomotive through the Japanese National Railways and JR, and its performance that allows it to be operated on low-standard lines (Otsu lines). It is a type that can be said to be synonymous with steam locomotives, and is still popular today under the nickname "Degoichi". It was used as the main locomotive in non-electrified sections from before the war to the mid-Showa period, and a major feature is that it has different appearances despite being the same type, with various equipment being installed in each locomotive depot reflecting the climate and operating conditions all over the country.
[HO D51 standard mass-produced type]
◆This product is commercialized in the standard basic form of the D51, and you can enjoy it with just this product. In addition, you can create details and individual differences by using the separately sold 〈7-104 (HO) D51 Grade Up Parts Set〉. In addition, we are also planning a makeup parts set that can reproduce the specifications of each region and the characteristics of each line. You can enjoy making your own D51 using these.
