Description

This KATO set represents the 211 Series 0 in Nagano colour, used after transfer from the Tokyo area to Nagano district services. The 211 Series is a stainless-steel DC suburban train family originally introduced to replace older 111 and 113 Series stock.

The Nagano version gives the familiar 211 Series a very different regional appearance, with blue-based banding suited to mountain-area services. It is useful for layouts based around JR East regional operation in central Japan.
