Description
The Nankai 6000 Series is a 20 m commuter train introduced for the Koya Line in 1962. Built as stainless-steel cars using technology associated with Budd-style corrugated body construction, the type has had a remarkably long service life.
KATO's model captures the distinctive corrugated stainless-steel body, single-leaf doors, roof equipment and later refurbished appearance of these long-lived Kansai private railway units.
