Description

The JR Shikoku 2000 Series was developed for faster running on the steep Dosan Line and was the world's first production tilting diesel multiple unit. The N2000 is an improved version for the Kotoku Line.

• Recreates Matsuyama depot vehicles as they appear around 2024.
• Newly reproduces updated LED headlights with granular light-emitting parts.
• Uwakai headmark fitted; Ashizuri, Shimanto, Ishizuchi and blank alternatives included.
• Slotless motor for smooth, quiet running without traction tyres for multiple working.
• KATO body tilt mechanism reproduces inward tilt on curves.
• Head/tail lights and headmark illuminate with white LEDs.
• Body-mounted close couplers without hooks.
