Description

The Tobu Railway 8000 Series was built in large numbers between 1963 and 1983 and became one of Japan's most numerous private-railway commuter EMUs. Later updated cars carried a range of visible differences, including changes to roof detail and lighting.

This KATO set represents the late updated Tojo Line version, based on formation 8181F around 2011 while allocated to Shinrinkoen. It depicts the appearance with removed roof ventilators and HID headlights.
