Kato Unitrack 24-840 Point Switch
The switch is suitable for all Kato points, turnouts. Just connect the switches to your points and all the switches can be joined together and clipped to the side of your Kato controller. Not using a Kato Controller? All you need is an adaptor 24-842 to connect to your controller and you can still use Kato switches.

Vital to control your turnouts (points). Fit to side of controller or can be powered independently. For the price you pay new here, it is far better value than putting faith and risk if you considering used items (lesson learnt!) instead.

These switches are a model railway marvel. No excessive wiring. Just plug and play, as someone who struggles with point wiring these switches and points are brilliant. Not only that the price cannot be argued about £6, talk about a bargain! I highly recommend anyone to make the switch into the kato system and the points and switches that just plug into your controller. Also the service and rapid delivery times from Train Trax are outstanding. Anyone who is thinking about getting into N gauge/ kato, don't think about it just go for it. Great product. I now have 28 of these switches, controlling 33 sets of turnouts. Highly reliable, and much easier to see which way the turnout is set simply by looking at the position of the lever. My last layout used momentary-contact toggle switches which returned to the centre every time they were used, so impossible to tell which way the turnout was set without checking the blades. Great service as usual from Train Trax!

Me again! Just bought two more: the first as a replacement for one whose lever broke when I dropped it on the floor; and the other to upgrade a second-hand switch which had been 'plugged and played with' too much, and wasn't connecting properly with its neighbour.
