Description

The Type 923 Series 3000, better known as 'Doctor Yellow', is the yellow Shinkansen inspection train used to collect track and overhead-line data on the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen. The bright yellow livery makes it one of the most recognisable modern Japanese trains.

This basic set represents the JR West T5 formation of the 923-3000 Series. It can be used with the matching add-on set to form the full train and is suitable for running alongside 300 Series, 700 Series, N700 and N700S Shinkansen stock.
