The EF81 has been used extensively, from the days of the Japan National Railways (JNR) to the Reiwa era, for everything from sleeper express trains to general freight trains. This model utilizes a coreless motor bogie drive unit system that delivers smooth running and high traction performance. It also features a taillight illumination gimmick, making it ideal for shunting operations in small spaces.
This time, we are reproducing the rose pink "standard color" model. Additionally, we are also simultaneously reproducing the "Upgrade Parts Set," which allows for more precise reproduction of details, allowing you to customize the period setting and detailed configuration to your liking. Main Features
1. This product is based on the configuration of the Tsuruga No. 2 Locomotive Depot, which operated from 1980 to 1982 (Showa 55-57), when it pulled the Blue Train.
2. It recreates the configuration of locomotives No. 75 to No. 136 (with externally fitted taillights, block-type license plates, and guide steps attached to the inside of the skirt).
3. While recreating the basic shape of the bogies and car body, the number of user-installed parts has been minimized. Easily take it out of the box and enjoy running without the hassle of damaging parts.
4. The wiring on the roof is made of metal, and the insulators are green.
5. Includes selectable license plates: "EF81 97," "EF81 105," "EF81 106," and "EF81 108," and manufacturer's plates: "Hitachi" and "Mitsubishi."
6. The window glass is gray H-rubber, the headmarks are "Nihonkai" and "Tsurugi," and the wheels are box-type wheels.
