This item uses Train Trax's website pre-order function.  For simplicity of processing, each product will need to be placed on a separate pre-order as they will probably arrive at different times. If more than one pre-order does arrive at a similar time then it will be possible to combine shipping charges.

Add to your basket as normal. You can then choose to provide card details to be held securely by the preferred payment provider 'Stripe' ready for when the item arrives. You will not be charged until despatch.

If you don't want to provide card details up-front, please choose 'Pay Later'. This just enables me to receive details of your order and no payment needs to be made at this time. You will receive an acknowledgment of your order. I will send an invoice when your order is passing through UK Customs, you can then pay the invoice online using any card or BACS.

KATO HO KiHa 110 Akita Relay Revival Colour

This HO special project model depicts a KiHa 110 in the revived Akita Relay colour scheme. The real KiHa 110-225 was repainted for the Iiyama Line in 2025 as part of JR East Nagano branch activity to support local areas along the route.

The original Akita Relay service operated between Akita and Kitakami, and this release brings that distinctive colour scheme to KATO's HO KiHa 110 line-up.

Key features and details

• Special project HO model of Nagano depot KiHa 110-225 in Akita Relay revival livery.
• White body with grey and red bands, light purple around the front gangway door and side areas, plus the Kanto festival mark reproduced cleanly.
• Front display fitted as Local on a white background, with a blank replacement included.
• Car number, JR mark, wheelchair and pushchair marks, depot lettering and other markings are printed.
• Door button switches represented by printing.
• Handrails and wipers are moulded into the body and front glazing.
• Toilet-end front has gangway bellows fitted; the opposite end has the bellows receiver detail.
• Roof equipment is factory fitted.
• Head/tail lights and front display light up, with light-off switch; warm white LEDs used.
• Telescopic close coupler fitted, with electrical coupler-style coupler receiver parts included.
• Minimum radius R370, making it practical for smaller HO layouts.
