This item uses Train Trax's website pre-order function.  For simplicity of processing, each product will need to be placed on a separate pre-order as they will probably arrive at different times. If more than one pre-order does arrive at a similar time then it will be possible to combine shipping charges.

Add to your basket as normal. You can then choose to provide card details to be held securely by the preferred payment provider 'Stripe' ready for when the item arrives. You will not be charged until despatch.

If you don't want to provide card details up-front, please choose 'Pay Later'. This just enables me to receive details of your order and no payment needs to be made at this time. You will receive an acknowledgment of your order. I will send an invoice when your order is passing through UK Customs, you can then pay the invoice online using any card or BACS.

KATO E235 Series 1000 Yokosuka / Sobu Rapid Line

The E235 Series 1000 entered service in 2020 as JR East's new Yokosuka and Sobu Rapid Line train. It is based on the Yamanote Line E235 design, but includes double-deck green cars and emergency running power equipment.

This re-run represents Kamakura depot F-08 and J-08 formations for the Yokosuka / Sobu Rapid Line, including the distinctive equipment fitted to this sub-series.

Key features and details

• Models Kamakura depot F-08 basic formation and J-08 auxiliary formation.
• Recreates the emergency power equipment on the motor units, including roof-mounted main air reservoir detail on Moha E234, underfloor traction battery detail on Moha E234 and related equipment on Moha E235.
• Green cars reproduce E235-1000 details including air conditioner shape and roof without equipment boxes.
• Cab skirts on Kuha E234-1008 and Kuha E235-1108 reproduce the real two-stage electrical coupler-compatible form.
• Door buttons are represented.
• Coupler specification varies by cab end: coupling couplers on the relevant leading cars, dummy couplers on the other cab ends, and body-mounted close couplers between intermediate cars.
• Slotless motor for smooth, quiet running; the auxiliary formation motor car has no traction tyres.
• Front destination display fitted as Local JO Yokosuka Line - Sobu Line, with replacement displays for Rapid JO Yokosuka Line - Sobu Line and blank included.
• Side destination displays are printed in black, with destination stickers included.
• The Add-on Set A bookcase can store the 4-car Basic Set; the Auxiliary Formation bookcase can store Add-on Set B.
