Description
The Taki 1000 was introduced in 1993 as a high-performance tank wagon capable of 95 km/h operation, helping to speed up Japanese freight services. The type continued to be developed over many years, with production reaching 1,008 vehicles in 2021.
This HO gauge model represents the Japan Oil Transport colour scheme with COSMO branding. The prototype vehicles with COSMO side markings began appearing from 2024 and are associated with oil traffic from Hamagoi toward destinations including Koriyama, Utsunomiya, Kuragano, Hachioji and Minami-Matsumoto.
