A complete N gauge starter set featuring the JR West 683 Series 4000 'Thunderbird' renewed livery train. The 683 Series 4000 was built between 2009 and 2011 for limited express services, with this renewed appearance associated with JR West's Thunderbird services.

The set combines the train with UNITRACK, controller and power supply, making it a practical way to start a modern Japanese limited express layout.
