Description
The Koki 50000 was a JNR container wagon type built from 1971 to 1976. It was designed as a general-purpose container wagon, able to carry five 12 ft containers or three 20 ft containers, and remained a familiar sight into the JR era.
This 11-car set represents the later JR-era appearance with light grey replacement TR223G bogies. The wagons are supplied without containers, making them useful for empty container trains, yard scenes or fitting with separate loads.
