It is mainly used for high-speed freight on the main line, and is operated at a maximum speed of 100 km / h when the weight of the train is 1,300 tons (26-car train) and 110 km / h when the train weight is 1,200 t (24-car train) or less.It is widely used on the Tokaido / Sanyo Main Line, Tohoku Main Line-Hokkaido, and the Japan Sea Transit Line, and can be loaded with marine containers and tank containers, so you can see it running with a wide variety of containers.
