Description
The Tobu Noda Line (Tobu Urban Park Line) is a core line that runs from Omiya to Kasukabe to Kashiwa to Funabashi, and operates independently from both the Isesaki Line (Tobu Skytree Line) and the Tojo Line. While the 8000 series was once the primary rolling stock, it has since been replaced by the 10030 (10050) series and newer models (60000 series, 80000 series). While the exterior has undergone some changes, including the addition of the "Tobu Urban Park Line" nickname logo in 2014 to improve the line's image, the series continues to serve as the primary rolling stock.
A new addition to KATO's Tobu 8000 series series. We've created a new Moha 8800, which features a single pantograph, and will be releasing two versions of the six-car formation currently in service on the Noda Line (Tobu Urban Park Line): one bearing the "Tobu Urban Park Line" logo that is still in service, and one from before that. In addition to operating on the Noda Line (Tobu Urban Park Line), we also recommend coupling it with the already released Tobu 8000 series to recreate the 10-car formation seen on the Tojo Line.
Main Features
The middle car (MoHa 8800), equipped with a single pantograph and found only on 6-car trains, is recreated using a new mold.
Body-mounted self-locking couplers are used on each car.
Destination display stickers are included.
