Description

A detailed N gauge passenger train set representing the overnight local train 'Hayatama', which ran between Nagoya and Tennoji via the Kansai Main Line, Kisei Main Line and Hanwa Line.

The real train covered more than 500 km and combined ordinary coaches, sleeping cars and postal/baggage stock, giving the formation a particularly varied late-JNR character. This set is designed to recreate the train as it appeared around 1980, using vehicles associated with the Ryuge, Shingu and Kameyama districts.

• Tail lights fitted to Ohafu 33 112, Suyuni 61, Nahafu 10 and Ohanehu 12, using red LEDs; most fitted vehicles include a light-off switch.
• Pre-printed destination boards are included for the formation, with additional stickers for 'Shingu' and B sleeper markings.
• Includes DD13 late type number plates 153 and 195 for modelling the Wakayamashi to Wakayama portion of the working.
• Compatible with KATO interior lighting kits 11-211 / 11-212 and warm-white 11-213 / 11-214.
