Description
Maite 49 The Maite 49, which traveled around various places as an event train of JR West, appeared as Suite 37040 type in 1938 in 2 cars. Initially, it was used for the limited express "Fuji", and the title was revised repeatedly and became Mayte 49 after passing through Suite 49. It was withdrawn once in 1961 and was displayed and preserved at the Osaka Museum of Transportation Science, but it was renovated and revived in 1987. After being inherited by JR West, it was operated as an event train in various places along with general passenger cars Ohafu 33 and Oha 46. It was stored at the Kyoto Railway Museum on October 11, 2022, and is currently on display together with OHA 46.
This is a passenger car set that allows you to enjoy JR West's event trains, and the Maite 49 reproduces the appearance of the air conditioner that was updated during the restoration maintenance and the handrails of the observation deck that was added.

- Reproduces the flat bearing truck The 3-axis bogie TR73 is equipped with black-dyed spoke wheels. The connecting side uses a bogie mount Arnold coupler (with coupler pocket), and the observation deck side uses a dummy coupler. The dummy coupler is removable, and if you prepare the separate Assy part "5313-2D Maite 49 bogie flat bearing", it is possible to convert it into an Arnold coupler for the deck side bogie mount.
