Description

The 313 Series was introduced by JR Central in 1999 and became a familiar commuter and suburban train across the company's network.

The 5000 and 5300 sub-series are based at Ogaki and are widely used in the Chukyo area. The 5000 Series uses all-convertible cross seating and includes ride-comfort equipment such as inter-car dampers and semi-active devices for high-speed running.
