Description
The KiHa 181 Series continued in JR West limited express service on non-electrified routes into the early 2000s. This 3-car set is aimed at the shorter Sanin-area formations used on services such as Oki, Kunibiki and Isokaze.
It can be used on its own as a compact limited express formation, or combined with other KiHa 181 sets for a wider variety of JR West services.
